Nelly Bresta & Accociates
Nelly Bresta is a Lawyer at the Supreme Court and the Council of State, specializing in handling cases of public law, in particular annulment, tax, civil service, education, health, retirement, ASEP cases, civil law labor law, urban planning. labor relations, organization of legal entities and services, representation of companies in public tenders for procurement and services. She specializes in many years of experience in the legal monitoring of public tenders for procurement, services, leases, as well as in matters of civil law leases and real estate contracts. She practices law and consulting, has a rich advisory work in public and private companies, while at the same time she is a Tax Consultant of Companies and Legal Entities, with special experience in the organization of Businesses and other Legal Entities.
She is a Lawyer with a salaried mandate of the Athens University of Economics and Business, specializing in legal issues of Higher Education.
She is particularly involved in education issues, collaborating with Educational Institutions, Training Institutes and has extensive practical experience in solving problems arising from the implementation of general educational legislation. She has successfully handled cases at the individual and collective level concerning the service issues of faculty members, disciplinary cases of faculty members and employees of legal entities under public law, educational issues of teachers, pupils, students, representing them in the relevant Judicial Services of the Ministry of Education and in the Administrative Courts.
She has been a Legal Advisor for a whole decate of the Pedagogical Institute of the Ministry of National Education and Religions and then for three years of the Institute of Educational Policy, Researcher in European Programs, Legal Advisor in External Working Groups and Executive Committees, providing legal advice.
She carried out research, teaching and organizational work at the Department of Organization and Management of the Athens University of Economics and Business (p.d. 407/1980).
She has served as Legal Advisor to Private Law Organizations.
As a trainee lawyer, she collaborated with the office of the Legal Council of the Ministry of Public Works and with the office of the Legal Advisor of the Central Office of the Legal Council of the State.
She is a graduate of the American College of Agia Paraskevi (PIERCE COLLEGE), a graduate of the Law Department of the School of Law-Economics and Political Science of the National Kapodistrian University of Athens and of a program entitled “Training of Executives in Tax Law” of the Research Center of the Athens University of Economics and Business. She is fluent in English and Italian.
She has presented scientific studies, participates in scientific companies and associations and in international conferences and seminars on issues of public law, tax and business policy, etc.
